Job Title: Supervisor, Fabrication (2nd Shift)

Location: Keosauqua, IA

What we're looking for:

We are looking for a second shift Supervisor, Fabrication who will be responsible for supporting our manufacturing facility by supervising staff, organizing, and monitoring workflow.

What you'll be responsible for in this role:

  • Ability to have positive interactions with all subordinates, peers, other departments/shifts, and members of management team
  • Support, communicate, implement, sustain, and consistently enforce all company policies and procedures
  • Build and sustain positive morale and attitudes among all reporting associates
  • Ability to set daily/weekly/monthly goals, communicating them effectively to associates
  • Initiate requisitions for open positions. Interview and select best candidates for positions.
  • Strong knowledge of organizational workflow and ability to delegate by assigning responsibilities and formulating schedules
  • Documentation of associate skills and knowledge
  • Conduct annual performance reviews on all direct reports
  • Keep accurate timekeeping in software systems. Plan, organize and coordinate shift activities
  • Train production associates on the job to perform up to safety, quality, productivity and housekeeping standards.
  • Ability to capture/analyze data regarding productivity- understand through observations the causes for high, low and stagnant productivity
  • Understand production requirements and direct resources appropriately to procure shipment items.
  • Ability to generate, and submit reports on performance and progress
  • Present rationale and experience utilized regarding your perspective/opinion. Communicate decisions with data and documentation
  • Other duties as assigned

What are the basic qualifications?

  • High school diploma / GED required
  • 3+ years' experience in production leadership

What are the preferred qualifications?

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Engineering, or relevant filed preferred
