Insurance Verification Specialist job details:
- Schedule: 8am - 5pm
- Pay rate: $15 - 20/hr.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage and ensure that patients are fully aware of their benefits and financial obligations for their medical treatment.
- Complete authorizations and referrals for services, including outpatient procedures, labs, and imaging tests.
- Scanning all insurance related documents into computer.
- Assist with other clerical task as needed, including but not limited to outbound calls to patients, collecting out of pocket amounts, accessing web portals for payment, inputting information as it relates to authorizations, updating and verifying insurance, etc.
