Interconnect Systems is looking for an electro-mechanical design engineer to help create new electronic industry components for our customers.
Our Team
- Design and develop new products (concepts, related feasibility research, cost quotes, timelines, etc) based on customer/engineering specifications.
- Support manufacturing with new design reviews, timely release of drawings, production issues.
- Understand ISI manufacturing capabilities to support design duties.
What You Will Do:
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- 2+ years of electro-mechanical design experience
- 2+ years of experience in 2D and 3D CAD (preferably SolidWorks)
- Good understanding of metals and plastics processing
- Ability to perform tolerance analysis
- Knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control)
What Will Put You Ahead
- PCB and SMT process understanding/experience
- 2+ years of experience working with customers on new product design
- Project management
