The PD Coordinator supports the PD team in all product development projects from concept to product launch by ensuring all shared documents are complete and accurate and that all samples are received and organized. The coordinator provides administrative support for the pillar.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Update pillar placemat calendars.
  • Matrixes for all brands under pillar
    • Prepare final matrix by market with final costs for record keeping after launch.
  • Meeting Administration
    • Prepare for all meetings with appropriate samples, materials and printing of documents, etc.
    • Management and research of materials for each market.
    • Creation of documents (proto review, costing, etc.)
    • Setup key milestone meetings in collaboration with PD Manager
  • Prototype Management
    • Manage Shipment communications and tracking and communicate status back to managers/director
    • Receive all incoming prototypes for all brands under pillar
    • Opening department packages/ distribute to appropriate managers after opening and unpacking
    • Maintain all sample closets for all brands under pillar
    • Keeping all samples in the Library updated with most current markets
    • Coordinate, track and record the loan of prototypes
    • Send out any FedEx/UPS packages for the team. Take images of shipment and email with tracking number to recipient. Follow up with tracking information to ensure it was received.
  • Saving of JE Images/GIR Images
  • Component (i.e.: leather) management for all brands under pillar
  • PLM support as requested by Managers (assist in data management)
  • Attend local trend shows as needed
  • Proactively seek out additional responsibilities during down time

Qualifications:
  • O-1 year of service-related experience in a similar position
  • College degree Required
  • Knowledge of end-to-end product development process preferred
  • Up to date with market trends
  • Interest in technical watch/jewelry construction preferred
  • Knowledge of brands / product lines
  • Project Management skills
  • Proactive
  • Flexible with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment
  • Organized, detail-oriented and thorough
  • Creative problem solver

  • Strong communication skills - ability to maintain organized and thorough documentation and notes
