What You Will Do:

Responsible for the sell-in of a forecasted dollar volume and mix of products into the assigned retail account(s). Act as key liaison between YSL/GA and Nordstrom & Neiman Marcus account(s). Interact with buying office in all aspects of the ordering process to ensure the company's net and retail goals are met. Perform all administrative functions for their account(s). Communicate effectively with the sell thru account executives, regional sales managers, sales administrative and marketing teams. Play an instrumental role in the planning and execution of marketing initiatives for each account.

  • Responsible for net sales goals for entire account(s). Compile all daily, weekly and monthly retail sales reports including competitive retail reports and mix of business. Participate in forecasting sales for new sku's within the retailer ordering systems.
  • Responsible for the overall stock levels and ensure appropriate product mix of stock is available in the stores by assuring timely ordering, proactively monitoring and resolving low or out of stock conditions. Control and update stock and sales plan, product and GWP returns. Manage promotional order process, from purchase order to shipment. Responsible for ensuring all retail and no cost merchandise ships on time and full. Works closely and regularly with customer service to ensure timely shipments, proactively resolve any issues (cuts, delays etc)
  • Responsible for regularly reviewing account retail projections for accurate net forecasting.
  • Actively participate in open to buy negotiation along with Key Account Director/ Field Sales Vice President.
  • Responsible for preparing account meeting information in conjunction with Key Account Director
  • Work in conjunction with the Key Account Director to establish the promotional strategy for the business, input the agreed upon contracts as well as maintain the advertising budget.
  • Responsible for participating in maintenance of retailer deductions via internal system (markdowns, visual spend, returns)
  • Responsible for filling out all retailer needed forms related to inventory.
  • Responsible for allocating and keying of No Cost and promotional items in the system.
  • Builds strong, influential partnerships with buyers to maximize space and visual priority, full stock conditions and the retailer's contribution to advertising and sales enhancing events
  • Partner with retail accounts on sku projections and OTB spend.
  • Analyze sales performance down to sku level, influencing retail partner on ordering.
  • Responsible for liaising between demand planning/marketing/key account team and retailer on forecasting launch projections
  • Communicate and follow up on all necessary business information from buying office to Field Sales Vice President, Marketing, Sales Administration and Sell Thru Regional Sales Managers and Account Executives.
  • Establish strong working partnerships with the Field Sales Vice Presidents, Regional Sales Managers, and Account Executives as well as people from the corporate office to acquire key resources, obtain problem solving advice and take advantage of assistance in highly critical negotiations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5+ years' experience in cosmetic or retail management
  • Self-motivated, results and solution oriented, with the ability to work independent of direct supervision.
  • Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills + Follow up and follow through skills.
  • Analytical in approach to identifying opportunities.
  • Must effectively monitor, analyze, interpret and communicate business information.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to establish strong working relationship with both buying and marketing groups.
  • Proficient computer skills necessary - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
