Title: Project Manager - Marketing III (Advanced)
Location: Rahway, NJ 07065
Duration: 12 Months

Qualifications
* Education: BS or BA
* Total years of Experience: 8-10 years in progressive Project Management.

Required skills:
* Must understand global marketing/commercial environments (preferably in pharmaceuticals/healthcare)
* Must be able to manage multiple, high priority projects with interdependencies and provide cross portfolio reporting to global marketing leadership.
* Should have strong skills in Microsoft Suite of Office products (Outlook, Excel, PPT, Word, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
* Candidate must have 3+ years Microsoft Project Planning experience and an understanding of how to plan and manage projects with interdependencies.

Nice to have / Preferred Skills.:
* Prior experience planning and manage product launches, preferably in pharmaceutical industry.
* Understanding and experience with VEEVA Vault
* Experience working with multiple cultures and individuals where English is a second language.
* 3-5 years minimum involvement within Commercial sales, Marketing planning, creative development, and tactical communications implementation.
* Proficiency in applying agile frameworks and practices.

Background Preferred
* Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Biologics, Financial, Engineering, or work in regulated Environments.
* Project management certification
* Scrum Master certification

Responsibilities:
* Collaborates with project stakeholders to document project goals, scope, schedule, project plan(s), deliverables, risks, blockers, success measures, and estimated resources needed in preparation for several new product launches.
* Ensures select, large product launches are aligned with Launch Excellence processes and expectations.
* Works with Marketing Leadership and Directors to coordinate cross-franchise initiatives.
* Ensures that projects remain in-scope and meet budgetary, scheduling, and quality requirements.
Proactively identifies key risks and issues, develops mitigation plans, determines impact on overall schedule and escalates to leadership as appropriate.
* Creates, manages, and distributes project communications artifacts like charters, schedules, and budgets.
* Develops and adheres to standard project controls, including reporting procedures, risk & issue management plans, communication plan, and change controls. Ensures these are aligned to Launch Excellence procedures for select launches.
* Provides project status updates at predetermined time intervals to all stakeholders.
* Communicates routinely to management, project team members, and other stakeholders.
* Actively solicits and addresses project issues, and when necessary, escalates.
* Coordinates with creative agencies to ensure key creative assets have Briefs aligned with MAH stakeholders; reviewing project proposals/costs and obtaining internal customer approval; and creative development plans are adhered to and support overall Global Marketing project plan.
* Ensures awareness of support needs and engage support as needed.
* Ensures adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
* Establishes key project success and success metrics and key performance indicators.
* Plans and leads status review meetings, which may include internal team members, vendors, and commercial operations.
* Responsible for training, managing, and motivating the project team, and resolving team conflicts.
* Resolves technical and process issues as required.
* Experienced in Agile and Traditional project approaches, using appropriate techniques and mindsets from each.
