Test Engineer

Job Description:

Test optical and RF devices and modules to characterize performance. Work with design engineers to identify issues in new products. Support production efforts by characterizing products throughout the entire manufacturing process. Develop procedures and documentation to support production testing and new product introduction.

Requirements:

• BS degree or AS degree in electrical engineering
• Experience with operating basic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers and spectrum analyzers desired
• Understanding of fiber optics and optical components
• Ability to read schematics and understand basic circuit designs
• Be able to communicate engineering concepts clearly and concisely
• Basic software experience (writing, editing, debugging scripts, VB/C/C++ etc.)
• Due to ITAR regulations, the candidate must be a US person, able to obtain secret level clearance.
