Job Summary:

The Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all activities related to assigned mobile programs aimed at serving underserved urban and rural communities. The coordinator will function as the point of contact for vendors, internal stakeholders, and community partners. The coordinator works across groups, aligning internal team members and external stakeholders and may coordinate project schedules, arrange support services, order supplies, and track progress.

Position Responsibilities:

Responsible for supporting the daily operations of assigned mobile services vehicle/programs serving underserved rural and urban communities. Operations include maintaining schedules for services; coordinating events and access for patients to referred services; maintaining data entry for all aspects of the program; managing finances, referrals, ordering of supplies and technologies associated with this program; overseeing and coordinating staff who support the program. Maintains database and produces reports used to identify outcomes and opportunities.

Responsible for coordinating meetings and developing processes necessary to maintain and advance the programs. Works in collaboration with various department leadership and is a program champion to ensure the success of program goals.

Functions as the point of contact for vendors, clients, and community partners.

Responsible for education and outreach within the local communities to raise awareness of the mobile programs and developing and maintaining strong working relationships with consumers and external stakeholders and referral sources.

Maintains database and produces reports used to identify outcomes and opportunities. Responsible for assuring timelines of all required processes and reports are completed and submitted. Provides oversight and assists in improving the quality of data and information as appropriate. Responsible for data collection and reporting to team and other groups as needed.

Position Qualifications Required:

Required Experience:

Demonstrated interest in local food, community, social justice, public health and/or local economies and be motivated by the mission of providing valuable services and resources to children and their families and creating sustainable programs and policies to address these needs and services.

Able to work independently and interdependently with other staff and volunteers.

Must display ease and comfort with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions and perceptions and demonstrate the ability to treat all people with equity and respect. Some ability to communicate in Spanish as well as English a plus.

Required Education:

High School

Training / Certification / Licensure:

CPR certification preferred.

First Aid certification preferred.

Valid driver's license may be required.
