GUNNER’S MATE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (Electronics Tech II)
General Experience. Shall have experience in operating personal computers in a Windows environment, to include a basic knowledge of word processing and data base management applications. Shall have experience in the Navy’s 3M System, Navy Safety Program, and OSHA Hazardous Materials Handling, Storage and Disposal Program.
Specialized Experience for MK-45. Shall have experience as a Five Inch, 54 Caliber MK-45 Lightweight Gun Mount (LWGM) Maintenance Technician, NEC-0979 or possess the equivalent civilian Technical Representative (TECHREP) manufacturer’s qualifications.
A candidate meeting these qualifications shall be considered qualified to perform maintenance on the MK-32 Surface Vessel Torpedo Tube (SVTT) and the MK-10 Train and Elevation Test Stand.
Security Clearance. Shall have or be able to obtain a Confidential Security Clearance.
