This position will be supporting the Traffic Based Flow Management (TBFM) group of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and requires a software engineer with in-depth Linux configuration experience. A full understanding of computer system design and implementation is required. Candidates should have experience maintaining complex computer systems from multiple perspectives including software development, system administration, data storage, and data analysis. Candidates must be able to employ these technical skills independently and securely. Candidates must also possess strong communication skills. Experience with the Federal Aviation Administration is preferred.

This position currently follows a hybrid schedule. The candidate will be expected to report to the William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) at least two (2) days per week or as required.
