The Nourish division in IFF reimagines the future of food and beverage experiences by combining ingredients and flavor expertise, through our end-to-end IFF PRODUCT DESIGN approach.

We are currently seeking a global Go-to-Market Storyteller with a talent for content marketing to support our Nourish division across a variety of categories. The Global Go-to-Market Storyteller excels in creating stories and content that will help IFF stand out in the global food and beverages category. In addition, this role is about working with a variety of industry teams to develop, drive and execute integrated communications plans to reinforce and strengthen our brand.

The work includes the planning and implementation of global communications activities, such as trade media relations, digital marketing, and events promotion. It is essential to interface daily with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders from around the globe. The role includes providing expert advice and tactical support.


The successful candidate will be based in the South Brunswick, New Jersey office. There is no relocation with this position. Local candidates only.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Drive or help drive the creation of branded content and/or stories that will set IFF apart in the global food & beverage category. Help maintain brand consistency and deliver on-time, on-brand content to the right audience.
  • Execute against the Nourish global communications strategy and drive awareness for the IFF brand in key categories around the globe.
  • Develop and implement global category communications plans, programs and initiatives that drive preference for the brand and support the generation of growth against clearly defined targets.
  • Be comfortable working in a global, multinational, matrixed organization, and collaborate across internal teams and functions in an effective and agile way.
  • Having a strong background in and passion for communications evaluation metrics.
Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in marketing and/or communications in either a corporate or agency environment.
  • Strong knowledge of effective communications strategies and tactics within a B-to-B environment and demonstrated ability to execute integrated communications programs:
  • Ability to develop outstanding written content and ensure consistency in positioning and messaging.

*Ability to manage for accuracy, style, design and adherence to brand standards

*Proven experience of working with trade media.

*Proven experience of working with digital marketing tools.

*Assisting in managing agency relationships.

  • Creative thinker, well versed in storytelling and having a talent for finding and unlocking stories worth sharing.
  • Self-starter with excellent copywriting skills and who knows how to break down complex, scientific or technical language into copy that is fit for a wider audience.
  • Proven ability to build strong and effective relationships with internal clients.
  • Highly collaborative with exemplary interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) and consultative skills with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments while maintaining attention to detail and a focus on results.
  • Previous experience working with science organizations is considered a plus.
  • Fluency in English is a must, fluency in other languages is considered a plus.
