Description

This position will be responsible for assisting the Operations Manager/Warehouse Manager in keeping inventory accuracy of the total inventory dollars. The Inventory Supervisor will also oversee, train, and develop Warehouse Associates in performing the cycle counts.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
  • Update and adjust the inventory tracking system.
  • Replenishes product and supply levels to correct inventory problems and shortages.
  • Reviews and prints out reports for adjustments, inventory operations and stock levels.
  • Assists Warehouse Manager in monitoring demand and analyzing data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Leads Warehouse Associates in completing cycle counts in a timely manner.
  • Runs shortage reports to review inaccuracies and make corrections as needed.
  • Reviews reports to validate the accuracy of our shipments and makes necessary adjustments in the system.
  • Responsible for printing out reports that help prevent customer order shortages.
  • Assists the Warehouse Manager to update the "fast moving" item locations.
  • Prepare warehouse for placement of new product lines, assortments, SKU's and seasonal inventory while properly removing obsolete and expired inventory to recycle and optimize primary locations.
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager with the daily ops duties as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Maintains regular and punctual attendance. Work extended hours, outside of regular shift schedule, as required by operational needs.
  • Effectively communicates with Manager and Co-workers. Ability to work well with a diverse group of people.
  • Promotes a safe work environment by adhering to company's safety guidelines. Maintains a clean workplace to avoid tripping hazards or other accidents. Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Flexibility to work in other areas and departments. Must be able to cross train in other departmental areas.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts and machinery.
  • Assist operations and shift managers as needed.
  • Must be able to wear safety shoes, safety vest and mask (during pandemic)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to comprehend and carry out simple instructions.
  • Must be able to utilize and troubleshoot a scanner.
  • Record receiving data in company database.
  • Data entry and computer skills.
  • Must be able to work with excel spreadsheets.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Detail orientated and ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Basic math and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to operate all warehouse equipment.
  • Prelude experience is a plus
PHYSICAL & other REQUIREMENTS
  • Warehouse inventory practices in a fast paced environment
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years Supervisory experience
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Spanish speaking a plus
