We are seeking to fill multiple Senior Product Manager roles across our Product Management and Platforms groups within BNY Mellon Pershing. These roles are based in Jersey City, NJ, Pittsburgh and Lake Mary, FL offices (hybrid).

The ideal candidate must have strong product management experience with some financial services domain knowledge.

You will have an impact in following ways:

  • Develop and execute a product strategy and roadmap that aligns with business objectives, prioritizes initiatives, goal-setting, and creates the evaluation criteria to ensure successful delivery
  • Lead complex and strategically important product Initiatives
  • Understands the client's needs and objectives, can introduce new ways of working, being productive, and soliciting feedback
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. UX, Engineering, and Business groups)
  • Drive product innovation by keeping up-to-date with industry trends
  • Define product metrics, measures performance, and uses data to inform product decisions
  • Develop product launch and go-to-market strategy for new products and/or enhancements to existing ones

Qualifications & Requirements:

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
  • 8-10+ years of product management with experience creating strategic product roadmaps and working with cross-functional teams in a highly-matrixed environment
  • Experience building and launching products from ideation through launch and revision
  • Commercial orientation and business acumen to assess new opportunities and drive profitability
  • Client orientation: ability to engage, build trusting relationships and set/manage expectations
  • Deep knowledge and experience in agile methodologies, experience working with multiple scrum teams on simultaneous builds
  • Experience managing daily technical and design direction.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $119,000 and $170,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
