Description
  • Responsible for assisting in the training and supervision of the Housekeeping employees.
  • Frequently inspects and evaluates guest rooms for cleanliness; reports areas of concern in general cleaning and repairs of general rooms and hallways; oversees that maid carts are presentable at all times and linen closets are neat, clean, organized and fully stocked.
  • Ensures that all lost and found items are promptly turned in to the Security Department.
  • Reports general cleaning needs and maintenance problems in guest rooms, corridors, service areas and linen closets.
  • Assigns room and keys to Guest Room Attendants.
  • Maintains prompt and accurate records.
  • Directly responsible for all projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.

Must be cognizant of the rules and regulations contained in the Local 54 contract in order that disciplinary matters may be handled correctly.

Qualifications

Education
High School (preferred)

Experience
*1-2 years' experience with housekeeping or hotel related operation. (preferred)
