LG's 2024 Summer Internship Program will be a 9 week internship from June 3rd through August 2nd, 2024.

The internship will be based in office at the LG North America Innovation Campus in Englewood Cliffs, NJ and pay an hourly rate of $28.50.

The LG Internship Program is built on the philosophy of ensuring that each intern is given the opportunity to perform robust and meaningful work while gaining real-world experience.

The program will also include each intern working on an individual strategic project for the department and delivering a presentation at the program's end.

Responsibilities

  • The Corporate Strategy Intern will report to the Senior Director of Corporate Strategy & GTM. Working closely with other members of the Corporate Strategy team, the intern will support the strategy and business development needs of LGEUS and its principal business units and will also support ongoing corporate projects.

    - Assisting senior members of the strategy team on projects supporting the different lines of business or corporate initiatives- Analyzing current market data and performance, emerging and future trends- Developing supportive analytics and materials, including pulling research, drafting presentations, creating charts and graphs from financial and market data- Structuring complex and ambiguous business issues into actionable recommendations and plans

The strategy intern will be assigned responsibility for a project that will support a high-priority, high-impact corporate initiative. The scope of the project will involve one or more business units and supporting functions. The intern will be responsible for developing a plan in conjunction with internal stakeholders, committing to a defined timeline and process for execution, and then executing on agreed deliverables on time.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a JD degree program at an accredited College/University and going into their second or third year
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
  • Analytical and well organized
  • The successful intern will demonstrate strong communication skills (written and verbal), strong quantitative abilities, strong analytical skills (i.e., logic), and good interpersonal instincts. The intern should also display comfort with taking the initiative to develop and propose ideas along with persuasive supporting materials.Also the intern needs to understand Korean written documents to align strategy with Korea HQ.Speaking, Writing Korean is not necessary but understanding written Korean documents will be plus.
