We're hiring for a PCS - Family Office Senior for our East Hanover office. Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:

  • Perform general bookkeeping for individuals, trusts, investment entities, family partnerships, operating companies and foundations
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements including client reporting packages and ad-hoc reports. Familiarity with both cash basis and accrual basis financial reporting
  • Record and reconcile investment and brokerage activity, including booking dividends, interest, and gains
  • Has basic knowledge of alternative investment accounting and ability to record contributions, distributions, etc.
  • Ability to reconcile/record capital statement activity
  • Preparation of bill pay and maintenance of related documentation. Interaction with vendors and client staff as necessary. Ability to research and resolve issues or discrepancies with client's accounts, bill pay, or invoices
  • Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations for various accounts in a timely manner.
  • Collection and organization of client's year-end tax and supporting documentation (1099s, K-1's etc.)
  • Provide quality client service while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
  • Supervise, train and mentor staff

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 3+ years' of relevant work and industry experience
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and also work well with others
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize deliverables to meet competing deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA License or on track to obtain
  • 1+ years' of supervisory experience in related field
  • Software Experience - CCH ProSystem, Microsoft Office 365 and QuickBooks
