Senior Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and records by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information.
  • Fixed asset processing and reporting.
  • Develop and update budgets.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations monthly.
  • Review and approve all disbursements prior to processing.
  • Research and reconcile all discrepancies.
  • Manage 1-2 direct reports (with growth)
  • Develop employee's compensation and bonus structures
  • Additional projects directed by Controller, CFO and/or CEO.

Qualifications:

  • Must have an accounting degree and minimum 5 years experience
  • CPA certification is a plus
  • Expert in Excel and creating pivot tables
  • Accuracy in daily work and other projects
  • Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines
  • Adherence to policies, procedures, and instructions of Manager of Financial Reporting
  • Ability to function as a team player
  • Monthly travel to Austin, TX
