Repairs, tests and installs pumps, motors, conveyor systems, plumbing systems, power plant equipment, kitchen equipment and sterilizers. Performs routine duties such as burned out light bulbs, clogged toilets

Observes all mechanical equipment in operation. Dismantles inoperative equipment, removes, repairs or replaces defective parts. Adjusts functional parts of equipment and instrumentation. Lubricates and cleans mechanical parts. Starts mechanical equipment and tests their performance. Utilizes electrical and mechanical tools, hand tools, ladders, scaffolds, lifts, gauges, m
