Lynn Friedman

Director of Employment Services, Interfaith Older Adult

Lynn has been with Interfaith Older Adult Programs for seven years and has been the Director of Employment Services for the past three years working with her counselors to find older under and unemployed workers employment in Milwaukee County. She manages four programs that help individuals retool for the current job market. Lynn received her BS in Communications and Management from Marquette University in 1998, returning to school as a non-traditional student.


Lynn has worked in volunteer management, automotive marketing, media relations, human resources, telecommunications, and data administration management roles. Lynn is the Co-Chair of the Sterling Milwaukee Committee, on the Advisory Council for iCare, former co-president of the Association of Volunteer Management, delegate for the Wisconsin Volunteer Communications Association, a former president of a women’s stock club(CIA) and a licensed real estate agent in Wisconsin.


Interfaith sponsors several programs that help mature workers find employment. Older workers are helped to secure jobs that provide long term self-sufficiency in positions that meet the person’s interests, aptitudes, values, and stated economic needs.
