National Church Residences, the nation's largest provider of affordable senior housing and health care services, is looking for an experienced team member to join the Acquisition and Development Construction Team.
We are seeking a full time Procurement Specialist who will share in our vision to advance better living and care for seniors!
The Procurement Specialist will work under the general supervision of the Director, Engineering and Energy Management with the responsibility of developing and managing a national procurement strategy.
Essential Functions:
* Develop and ensure completion of property surveys and other data gathering initiatives to provide the necessary information to learn about property procurement
* Prepare and conduct request for proposals to solicit responses from vendors
* Evaluate vendor responses and make recommendations as to potential national procurement potential
* Ensure that the necessary operational and accounting processes are developed and implemented to successfully administer national procurement contracts
* Provide ongoing management of national procurement contracts
* Perform project research and report preparation related to the activities of the organizational unit to which assigned; may prepare and update a variety of periodic and special narrative, database and statistical reports
* Coordinate large capital / special projects or programs as assigned.
