All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.   Description The candidate's responsibilties will be to deploy the release of new technologies as well as design, install, configure, maintain and perform system integration testing of PC/server operating systems, related utilities, and hardware for the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) NextGen Integration and Evaluation Capability (NIEC) laboratory at the William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) in Pomona, NJ. Additional responsibilities include: Responsible for trouble shooting server problems as reported by users Researches, evaluates, and recommends software and hardware products Maintains a secure systems environment Installs new servers and maintains the server infrastructure   Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for a Position of Public Trust. Hybrid schedule available but required onsite at the facility a minimum of 3 days per week.   Facility location:  WJHTC, Pomona, NJ     Position Requirements Education:  Bachelor's Degree in information assurance, information management, information technology, computer science, or degree in related field.  Years of experience may be substituted for degree.
