The position is responsbile for developing sales and managing strategic accounts within the Foodservice and Healthcare Business Unit. The primary account base will include national foodservice distribution organizations and healthcare GPO's. The position will entail interaction with the executive management of many of the largest US based national account customers. Representing the full line of Inteplast Group products, this position interacts with our customers procurement, marketing, supply chain and R&D teams. Account penetration and development is a must. Geographic coverage includes the United States.
Travel requirements could be up to 50% and could include 2-3 or more overnights per week. The position reports to the G.M./Director of the Foodservice and Healthcare Business Unit.1) Provide leadership and management of healthcare GPO programs and end-user development.
2) Provide leadership and strategic planning for all current foodservice national, regional and multi-unit account programs and sales activity.
3) Manage all corporate relationships with the major, national foodservice broadline distibutors in the US. This includes, but is not limited to, US Foods, Sysco, PFG, GFS.
4) This position will be responsible for managing the strategic vision with many of the largest national account customers such as Smashburger, Qdoba, Sweetgreen and others.
5) Work with other national account and regional managers to expand additional product specifications with exisiting national account customers.
6) Ability to coordinate and deploy sales efforts with other sales team members to coodinate distribution across the Inteplast Group business in order to drive efficiencies for the customer.
7) The ability to develop and navigate the R&D/product development process at these large national account customers is imperitive.
8) Must be proficient at utilizing existing sales support materials such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word and any other tools at their disposal.
9) Insure contract compliance on all programs through effective communication with all customer groups.
10) Collaboration of intel about other channels, products and industry trends within cross-functional teams to educate others on discoveries learned through the sales process is essential.
11) Maintain contracts for effective renewal and pricing policy changes.
12) Assist busines unit Director, regional and sales mangers at trade and industry functions.
1) Sales and Marketing: Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products and services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product innovation, product demonstration, sales techniques and sales control systems.
2) Customer and personal service: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
3) Administrative and management: Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning resource allocation, human resource modeling, leadership technique, production methods and coordination of people and resources.

5) The ideal candidate will possess expert time management and organizational skills1) Strong working knowledge of national healthcare GPO programs.
2) Minimum of 5 years working directly with healthcare GPO's and 10 years experience within the healthcare industry.
3) Strong Working knowledge of developing national foodservice programs with large broadline foodservice distributors.
4) The candidate should possess 5 years of working with national foodservice distributors and 10 years in the foodservice industry.
5) The ideal candidate should have working knowledge of the disposable products industry, preferably with a product category leader.
6) Person must have demonstrated a track record of developing new business with major foodservice and healthcare accounts, including working with the marketing, procurement and other areas of said accounts.Must possess strong communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills.
Must be self-motivated and proficient in managing one's own time and the time of others.
Using critical thinking skills to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
1) The candidate must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite of Products
1) Educate, trains and works with chain accounts on Inteplast, Pitt & Trinity products lines.
2) Educates, trains and work with national foodservice distribution accounts on Inteplast, Pitt & Trinity product lines.
3) Demonstrate master knowledge of product lines, policies, systems and competitive environment.
4) Works with field sales organization to execute the chain account contract and address issues at the distributor level.
5) Prepares and analyzes reports for sales management, regarding distributor and direct buying customers associated with the assigned geography or market segment.
6) Set up requests for competitive prices.
7) Coordinates the completion of RFP's.
8) Coordinates the facilitation of plant audits and customer visits
9) Develops, maintains and services Inteplast's relationships with the customer base.
