Assists in creating, maintaining, and improving all distribution center operational processes, including inbound, outbound, and inventory control functions for the US Fresenius Kabi finished goods distribution network. This role will report to the Senior Manager Supply Chain Solutions.

Responsibilities

• Helps to define, design, and improve the US distribution standard operational processes (freight and logistics) to maximize process efficiency and productivity
• Assists in the execution of project plans related to process enhancements
• Helps to ensure and optimal fit between people, process, technology, and tools through direct observation, data collection, and statistical analysis of processes
• Supports the design, installation, modification, and continuous improvement of distribution center equipment and processes including our WMS, TMS, and LMS environments
• Updates appropriate process documentation
• Assists operations management on implementation of supply chain enhancements
• Proactively monitors operations for any changing business requirement or process bottlenecks
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and provide process feedback as required
• Collaborates with functional groups outside the distribution network that have influence on performance (i.e. plant and customer operations, finance, quality)
• Identifies and communicates process improvement ideas
• Develops savings and return on investment calculations for any identified process improvement projects

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering required
• Proactive and results driven with strong quantitative, analytical, and computer skills
• Demonstrated successful process improvement skills, experience in a distribution center environment strongly preferred
• Experience with SAP WM is preferable
• Must possess excellent computer skills including the Microsoft Suite of products.
• Should demonstrate a working knowledge of Good Warehouse procedures and practices
• Must exhibit productive work results in all assigned duties.
• Ability to effectively communicate, verbal and written, and cross-functionally.
