At Battelle, we reward the best work with more responsibility, positions to grow and develop, and the opportunity to make a positive impact on the world.
Battelle Memorial Institute's Environmental Solutions and Process Operations (ES&P) group specializes in environmental technologies and process engineering and improvement for government and industrial applications. ES&P is expanding its software applications group and is seeking Senior LIMS Software Engineers in Aberdeen, MD.
Relocation support is available.
These applications will support both our Chemical Demilitarization Plant Operations (CDPO) and our Environmental Technologies Product Lines. We are currently partnered with major A&E firms providing engineering and scientific support during all phases including pre-construction design and environmental permitting, construction, systemization, operations and facility closure. By anticipating technical issues and applying lessons learned from other sites, we provide cost effective solutions in a time-critical production environment. The sites, which are in different stages of their life-cycle, are located in Alabama, Kentucky, Colorado and Utah with our labs located in Ohio.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining laboratory information management systems (LIMS) at these chemical weapons demilitarization facilities. The development and target environment is a Microsoft platform running SQL server with a dot-net web interface using the SQL report generator.
