Position Summary

This position has overall sales responsibility for selected major strategic accounts nationwide.

Position Responsibilities

  • Personify the company's core values: Do the Right Think, Work Hard/Play Hard, Care, Control Your Own Destiny
  • Help develop and execute plans and strategies to achieve sales goals
  • Maintain individual development plan for each assigned account
  • Provide feedback to top Management and Product Development regarding account dynamics including product and style trends, business conditions and competitive intelligence
  • Provide sales forecast for Management
  • Responsible for presenting and coordinating of annual line reviews of strategic accounts
  • Provide all Strategic Account Customers with pricing documentation including raw material costing and data for them for each price increase
  • Work closely with sales support functions including Customer Service, Claims, Pricing and Production Planning to meet customer needs and resolve service, product performance and delivery issues
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and manage resources, in order to meet account performance goals
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
  • Lead a joint company - strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones
  • Lead solution development efforts that address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis

Education requirements

  • BS degree in business or marketing
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in major account management
