Summary
Actively participates in the Enterprise Infrastructure team including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting systems and processes. Provides second level technical support for Data, Voice and AV network support calls which require escalation. Participates in the configuration, installation and troubleshooting of Data, Voice and AV systems.Position Responsibilities:
- Responds to Customer Support Center, staff, site personnel and outside vendors to provide technical assistance and level 2 support of data and voice network systems.
- Provides 24/7 user support and troubleshooting service of all audio visual systems used throughout Virtua and affiliates.
- Performs troubleshooting of wireless (802.11) network systems and hardware.
- Performs disaster recovery testing and ensures integrity and recoverability of all Data and Voice based hardware, software and data.
- Leads Small Data and Voice Network Projects.
- May also act as IS Project Support and as a liaison between project managers and the network team on facilities projects.
- Installs data and voice network equipment and systems.
- Maintains documentation, including but not limited to: Network hardware, VoIP systems and network operating systems.
- Provides after-hours support as required.
- Adheres to IS Business Practices and available for 24/7 support as needed.
Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:
Minimum of three years' experience in supporting enterprise network systems, Cisco or Aruba Networks. Certification in enterprise network grade systems highly preferred, Cisco or Aruba Networks.
Required Education:
Undergraduate degree in Computers / Information Systems or related area or equivalent experience. Technical Certification highly preferred, Cisco CCNA (Data, Voice or Security) or Aruba ACMA. Valid Driver's License required.
