THE JOB:

As an Assistant Manager Room Service, you will be responsible for the supervision of the room service area. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Manage, direct, and supervise all department employees; prepare work schedules to maximize effectiveness of the department in terms of service and labor costs

  • Initiate changes in classification, salary action, transfer, and separation; coordinate weekly schedules and vacations; and monitor individual performance and meet with employees to discuss performance issues periodically

  • Hire and train new and existing employees on job duties; counsel Room Service employees, and document all actions taken

  • Assist guests who call for a private function with the selection of food and beverage items to meet their particular needs; oversee the set up and service at cocktail parties, private functions, and special Food and Beverage functions

  • Assist Telephone Dispatchers, Cashiers, and Checkers if problems arise

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 2+ Years of Prior F&B Experience

  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
