Summary:
Responsible coordinating all activities related to assigned projects or programs.
Accesses data to develop reports used to identify outcomes and opportunities.
The project coordinator works across groups, aligning internal team members and external stakeholders and may coordinate project schedules, arrange support services, order supplies, and track progress.
Position Responsibilities:
* Responsible for coordinating meetings and developing processes necessary to advance the project. Works in collaboration with various project leadership and is a project champion to ensure the success of the program.
* Serves as program representative on applicable committee, and for meeting and educational webinars.
* Responsible for planning and logistics of educational programs including but not limited to organization of rooms, schedules, food, and presentations.
* Responsible for implementing outreach efforts and establishing and maintaining a positive relationship with key referral sources (for example, physicians, office staff, nursing, case management, social services, clinical nutrition, diabetes, weight management, bariatrics, etc.) using multiple education/communication methods.
* Responsible for assuring timelines of all required processes and reports are completed and submitted.
* Provides oversight and assists in improving the quality of data and information as appropriate.
* Responsible for data collection and reporting to team and other groups as needed.
Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:
3 years healthcare operational experience required.
Requires problem solving, decision making & critical thinking skills.
Requires excellent leadership, organizational, written & verbal communication & excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work in a self-directed environment, with an ability to work with and lead teams.
Excellent presentation skills; ability to implement professional and community based education programs.
Experience in Project Management role preferred. Computer literate, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) competency required.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Health Care/Public Health field or related field
required; would consider significant experience in lieu of degree.
