- Ensures each order sent out is uniform.
- Controls food production to include:
- Proper cooking methods, cooking time and temperature, seasoning and ensuring sanitation, handling and storage of prepared foods and leftovers.
- Prepares for a rush period of work without getting behind.
- Other duties as assigned.
Take responsibility for duties or station.
Experience
*Prior experience as a cook required.
*Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
*Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques.
*Six months experience as a cook's helper preferred.
*Must be familiar with all phases and operations of the kitchen.
